In life and the business world, we look to find people who add more to our lives. People who can help us excel or learn new things. Many times building these first connections with people is hard and finding things in common is harder. What if there was one simple trick to help facilitate relations?

Think back to a time that someone said your name while talking to you. Though it isn't apparent, two effects probably occurred. This can be applied to almost anything that you want someone to remember. The second is an acknowledgment of their identity. Using a persons name acknowledges them as a person and helps boost their self esteem. This trick can be used with an item you want them to associate themselves with like a product or idea.
Use this simple trick can help grow connections quickly and allow each other to grow comfortable with each other. Be careful because extensive use can make people feel like you are manipulating them. Read their body language and know when to lay off
